Help with Raid 1 - Page 2

Well as I said (Well to be honest I haven't set up a RAID 1, but I would "assume" )

Key words, but if it's working then your sweet, did you set your disks to dynamic before mirroring the volume/Disk you want in RAID 1 ?

Yes I did.

I just unplugged one of the drives and booted in, but now my single mirrored drive isnt showing.. So, I guess it didnt work, unless all the data is still on the drives and you need to plug into a new comp??

Back to step one with setting up the raid.

Right as I thought, if it's set up in hardware windows will read it as one volume and not show a secondary disk.

HERE.

But if set up in windows you should be able to scroll across the main information plane in Disk Manager to a column called fault tolerance and that should say yes if you use RAID 1/1+0,5,10.
