Hi guys,

Is it possible to put a Athlon II x2 255 on a M2N-SLI in order to replace an old AM2 socket Athlon 64 X2 5200+ ?

Yes ,it will work.

You will need to update to bios version 5001.

Unless you are using a 58xx series ATI gfx card, then you need bios 1103.(same as 5001 but has slow boot with ATI 58xx fix)

5001 supports up to PhII x4 945

Click on the M2N Club link in my sig,see spreadsheet "bios files tab" to D/L the bios you need.

Good luck
