Wait a week. If they haven't released it, then go Sandy Bridge. There's more and more rumors floating about them pushing it back between July and September for release.

Just buy the new system, it definitely won't be retailing in a month, much less 1-2 weeks. All signs are pointing to July/early August.

Unfortunately August. That slide is 100% legit.

What I'm doing is just making myself a Phenom system with an AM3+ motherboard. I won't really need the power Bulldozer or SB would provide at this time anyways for gaming at 1920x1080.

So I get Phenom, and just upgrade to BD when I need it.

Why not just get a SB now? Bulldozer is struggling to match the performance of SB already, hence the delay. You can have a processor that you know will perform at bulldozer level today.
