I know and thanks to all the people that made recommendation! But I really really liked the build quality and looks of this lens, maybe it will be worth it in the long run when I get a full frame.

I don't have a problem with the expenditure -- if he's got the cash, who cares what he does with it. I do, however, take issue with spending that much coin and not getting 100% of what he really wanted -- an ultrawide zoom.

if hes going to get a FX body then its money well spent (i bought my 24-70 when i was on my aps-c body)

Yeah, except he said "not for a while", implying it's going to be "a while" (HU HU HU HU) until he gets out of his crop. I would have just bought a crop lens, used it, sold it for minimal loss later on and then picked up that 14-24 when switching. 14-24 is borderline walk-around on a crop.
