Hey guys, i recently wanted to start PC gaming because i know the graphics are much better and online game play is more fun, But it seems as though i've wasted my money on a terrible build.
I wanted to max every new game coming out, for exampel BF3 And MW3, And now people telling me my GTX 460 won't be able to max it, I spent fortune on my PC build, i might aswell stick to my PS3, It will give better graphics than this GTX 460, really upset right now.
All i want is to play online future games with sexy looking graphics :\\
I don't wanna run BF3 on low settings, it will look disgusting, not worth playing.

Heres my PC specs.

Your 460 will destroy a PS3 graphics wise

PC Game on Medium/High > Console on TV
overclock it. also, games worth playing are that way because they are fun, not because they are pretty.

You think my GTX 460 on medium playing BF3, Will still have immense PC Graphics to play?
I mean, will it still look sexy while playing online.

I realyl don't want crapy grapihcs. Notihng like runescape haha.
Can't explain, i just want nice grapihcs, can my GTX 460 supply this for me?

Are you talking about the GTX 460 SE (288 CUDA cores and 1GB VRAM on a 256-bit bus) or the GTX 460 768MB version (336 CUDA cores, 768MB VRAM on 192-bit bus)?

Either way, both of those cards should do well at 1600x1200. 460s are very capable, and OC extremely well on air.

Well i'm hoping i can run Battlefield 3 on high settings.
If not will overlocking let me max it out?
I've never overlocked a card before, I think i'll be shy about it, because my first build, I don't wanna blow up any components in my tower.

You won't be able to max it out, but it will still look much better than if you were to play the game on PS3.

GTX 460 768MB is a very capable card for resolutions below 1080p. Mine was great @ 1080p but always felt it needed a little push to go to the next level. Not sure were 1600x1200 falls as pertaining to 3D graphics demand.

Edit - Its a couple of 100's thousand pixels less than 1080p so it should do great.
