I see plants in that picture...photosynthesis my friend, O2 is a product, and im assuming theres enough plants to keep the habitants of that castle oxygenated wink.gif

Actually, it's not the oxygen per se, it's the pressure. Not to mention that even if the pressure wasn't a problem, the wind would've scattered all the O2 molecules. And even if that wasn't the problem, there's simply not enough plants in there. In fact, most of the oxygen on Earth is produced by cyanobacteria and algea. So, my friend, if you plan on using fancy terms like photosynthesis and O2 you'd better come prepared.

Oh, I see you counted up the plants...thats where my theory failed!

I think you might find this website a little more appealing than OCN.

Also, cyanobacteria and algea both get thier energy from photosysnthesis, so as I stated, plants produce the oxygen we need to breath.

If the castles are floating maybe the pressure has decreased for some reason
post #18 of 27
Decreased? The whole problem of breathing at high altitudes is due to low pressure. It would be even worse if it were to decrease Besides, there's still the issue of gravity.

Its magic, so the air stays

Good point.

I also find it funny that everyone was more concerned with how people could survive at that altitude, than they were with the fact that It was a flying Castle.
