Three questions regarding my Antec 902 (v.3)

Thread Starter

I'm currently building a PC using the Antec 902 (version 3) and everything is going fine so far, however there are three things that bug me.

Solved the first problem. My MSI GTX 560Ti Twin FrozR II OC 1GB is 238 x 111 x 7mm (9" long). The case fits 10.5" cards.

Solved the second problem. I just had to take out the 3.5" HDD enclosure and slot the fan clips into place manually.

Lastly, and I have read this thread thoroughly: Why I don't like my Antec 902 , how do you mount a 3.5 drive into the bottom HDD bays? I couldn't see the screw holes line up through the side of the HDD enclosure. I ended up just mounting it on the bracket that came with the case into the top 5.25 bay.

Edit: Found some good information here about it:

I have the same problem with the fan mount on my case. And you know you have to fully remove the hard drive bays to install a hard drive.

Right, well that shouldn't take too long. I just simply put the HDD into the bracket, screwed it solidly in place with the four that came with it and it doesn't move at all. Slid the bracket into the 5.25 bay and screwed that in with two more screws.

But I'll slide it out if need be to ensure I've done it correctly. Thanks.

Because it wasn't clear how to No pin holes lined up. I'll try taking out the hard drive enclosure.

Took both side panels off this time, to be able to get to the big silver nuts off, and take out the bottom 3.5" HDD enclosure.

Managed to properly attach the bottom fan so hooray for that Then I took out the HDD from the enclosure I'd put it in before with the bracket.

Placed the HDD into the bottom 3.5" HDD enclosure on it's own and found out the use of these 1 inch nuts that came with the Antec 902

Before this thread and that video in the OP I didn't know you could actually take out the HDD enclosures But you can put the HDD in the top bays without taking out the whole enclosure.
