Help with a HP Pavilion dv2000 needed

Ok where to start? well i guess i should start off with that I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 it has a AMD Turion64 CPU and you guessed it, it's locked down. It has a system password and I don't know it for the life of me nor does my friend who has passed on I try to type it in and all I get is "system disabled [08707]". I need some help with this laptop so i can get in to the bios and disable it and format the stupid thing.

I also know it's a Pheonix bios and that on the back white sticker it says "dv2020us" but the laptop says dv2000 on the corner (bloody weird). so now you now why my name is HP Hater lmao

i need a backdoor password badly even if its a list of them and your help is greatly welcomed.

Many thanks.
Alvaro

Try Schubie's guide. It's old but still might work for you.

Ah yes this little trick but it didn't work i've tried it multiple times and i couldn't get the right backdoor password i really don't wanna zap it nor pay over $300.00 CDN for a motherboard and on top of that i don't have a extra computer to use the program anymore
