1. Please don't reply to your own thread unless 24 hours has passed, or someone else has replied. When there are 2 or 3 posts by you in a row, it's called 'bumping' and the mods frown on it.

2. You never answered the person that asked if your system was a prebuilt one from DELL, HP, or whatever. This will have tons to do with whether you will be able to overclock or not. Basically, if you bought it from a company like DELL or HP, you most likely will NOT be able to overclock anyways.

3. Take some time to do some reading in these forums about overclocking. Learn how it works, what the 'normal' or 'good' temps are, what the 'max' and 'min' voltages you can set; there's just so much, that a new person to overclocking really has to do a lot of reading, or risk damaging something in the longrun.

Here is a start:

Hey Salue,

Your idle temps are much better and Im liking your case

Have you got or can you down load the following programs to stress your CPU...

1) Prime95
2) OCCT
3) Intel Burn test and or
4) LinX

You will need these to test your overclock.

Idle temps are fine but the mark of a good cooler is to keep your chip cool at load.

We will need to see your load temps and load temps will go a long way in your ability to overclock the chip.

Have a look here to learn about OCing..

http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...ed-guides.html

You have a good chip there. Depending on your cooler and ram, you should hopefully hit 4 Ghz.
