Refusal to go over 2.9GHZ?

Thread Starter
So this has been bothering me for a while I've been adjusting the settings on my processor trying to get it up to 2.9ghz or even 3.0 but for some odd reason whenever I OC to exactly 2.9 or higher 2.89 and 2.88 are fine I either BSOD or get a start up failure caused by the OC. However when at 2.87 it's stable and has been for about 10 day's straight.

Is there any setting's i'm missing here that are limiting it?
Ah yes and to my current knowledge the voltage cannot be modified.

Your motherboard is limiting your OC, period.

It does not have OC features, and in this case the CPU will only overlock until its original Vcore remains stable.
