The Nividia ION or the GeForce 335m?

So hello there

Quick question, i had a m15x which i just sold as i found that it was too big as i spend a lot of time in internet cafes.

SO i need something that i can game on, just using battery for as long as possible. Recently i have only been playing League of Legends, which is not too GPU intensive so i could cope with the Nvidia ION in the HP311c but which would last longer on low level gaming? the Nividia ION or the GeForce 335m?

FYI the m11x lasts about 2 hours playing Mass Effect 2 at full settings

thanks!!!!

PS money isnt really an issue but i can get the HP for £200 and the m11x for £600 so its a big difference Cheers

The 311c can play games, albeit on low settings.

I have the Mini 311... I get ~6-7 Hours battery life with Windows 7. Its a decent machine. You wont be able to play HD 1080p Video (unless on youtube) if you don't put in a SSD. It will lag freeze every 10sec if playing it off a standard HDD. Overall its good for the price. m11x is definately more powerful at 2x the price. If all you're doing is internet surfing, hd youtube videos, very very very very light gaming then its perfect.

But if you've got the $$ then go for the m11x.

hp dm1z
amd owns for netbooks for the moment. has 7200 rpm hardrive in the cheap model.
can run even recent games, is in the 400 dollar range, and can push like 8 hours in power saver mode, more like 3 in heavy use mode but still good.

thanks for your info! Can i ask, will the laptop let you game on battery, or will it downclock the gpu as moat lappys do. This is the benefir of the m11x, as it wont downclock unless you tell it to.

Thanks in advance.

Ps the reason why is that most internet cafes dont have power supplies.
