Need new (quiet) case fans.

Thread Starter
I need some new intake fans for the front of my case.
I would like to get them from newegg

I currently have 2 rosewill 120mm blue LED fans in the front fan slot, and some random fan in the drive bays. They are WAY to loud, and if i turn them off my pc gets too hot.

I need 3x new 120mm fans with blue LED's in them. I don't really know whats good or not so i need some help.

Thanks.

EDIT: Newegg no longer a requirement if i can get them cheaper somewhere else.

Undervolt well

I've heard good stuff about the Gentle Typhoon's and some of those funky nonstandard Arctic Cooling fans.

Edit: woops, only read the tldr.
For blue LEDs I'd reccomend those smoke black Cooler Master 120s

Xigmatek, they looks the piece they are reasonably quiet too

If it has to be from Newegg, Silverstone has some very solid fans. Note that the fan has 9 blades, whereas most 120mm fans have 7. This helps to keep them much quieter. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835220031

If you're going to get quiet fans you won't need a controler

I like this..

Yate Loon - D14SL-12

Yateloon's are great fans.

The Aerocool Shark Blue Edition 12cm comes with a resistor that knocks it down to 7v and makes it quiet. I have mine on 5v, and it is very quiet. Silky smooth - no clicking.

The Yate Loon D12SL-124B is louder but still quiet. Clicks when undervolted.

I have a pair of Rosewill RFA-120-BL's. At 1500 rpm they're still louder, and the click when undervolted.

The Rosewill RFX-120BL are wonderful fans, but loud even at 5v. I don't recall them clicking, however.

Most fans click when undervolted, which is why I ended up putting the Sharks in my case. GT's are better fans, but they have no LED's.

ehume, thank you

Yea im looking for fans that work well undervolted, since that really is all fan controllers do. Might not even need the controller with 7v adapter.

These are the fans i have for intake: You just posted the link too

Very loud at 5v and click. These are what i will be replacing, also taking sugestions from your thread i have removed the DVD drive and added a 120mm fan. I have yet to try eSata on the drive...

I have those Rosewill RFX-120BL's that ehume linked as my Antec 300's front intakes. I use the PCI slot fan controllers that came with them though.

They are straight up turquoise though.
