Thanks a lot, i never new of these processors, i just went for the 1st generations.
2600K is 300 dollars less than the i7 970, thanks alot for that; Now i can buy the fatal1ty sound card without worries of money shortage
Here's the list now:
intel 2600K - 310.00
HAF X - 189.99
AMD 6990 - 739.99
Fatil1ty - 109.99
x58 classified - 379.99
RipJaes 2x4gb - 149.99
1600W PSU - 320.00

TOTAL - 2400.00 (HST is gonna kill me) [I live in BC]

Thanks all, just a question, what case should i choose besides the HAF X? In my main post, I said I dont like it too much due to you cant customize the fans too well unlike the HAF 932. But I NEED a case with more than 6 PCI slots to fit everything, and for future. Suggestions?

Aswell, what monitor should I choose? I'm still running a cruddy VGA at the moment
-Go for P67 or Z68 mobo since the x58 cannot fit a 2500k/2600k.
-Make sure the rams voltages are 1.5 since i've been hearing some people having compatibility issues with anything higher that 1.65

Can you explain exactly why you so desperately want to upgrade everything? You have a mint case, why not stick with that? You could also just get the 6990 first, for one, and keep the 870 for at least a year longer, get a proper cooler like the corsair h100 and clock it. And why get new ram if you already have perfectly fine working ram? Unless they're some sketchy brand with a bad frequency.

Wow, thats extremely surprising, i never knew that the x58 didnt support sandy bridge, thank the lord for you posters haha.

Ph10m > The reason why is well, I just want to have a PC that just murders all others in online gaming, Plus my HAF 932 does NOT have dust filters, and with a dusty house it means like a cleaning of every component every 2-3 weeks.

Furthermore, the main reason why is due to the fact that I want to build a PC from scratch since my PC I have now costed an excessive of 2000.00 back in september from IBUYPOWER. So with a PC thats 3x better with only a tag of 3000.00 why not?

Thanks all, Does any of you know when EVGA will release a MBoard that will the 2600k?

Kudos, Jon.

So, you just want to waste a bunch of money, then complain about HST.
