This here is a little off topic. Okay, a lot.

I'm wondering if any of you have tried an in-car charging device for these 1st generation ASUS EEE Transformers.

Here's one I'm interested in, but don't know if it'll work, fail to work or just plain fry my tablet:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875998147&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL092712&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL092712-_-EMC-092712-Index-_-CellPhoneCarTravelChargers-_-75998147-L014C

This is only an example of what I need.

I make many long road trips to a couple of VA hospitals every year and would like to keep my Transformer charged up while on the road.

Why ASUS doesn't sell things like this and many other accessories is beyond me.

ASUS also fails to provide proper operating instructions for these tablets and other of their consumer products. They seem to have the attitude that anybody that buys such products as their Transformers automatically knows exactly how everything works. I don't even know how to take a picture with this thing, operate the built-in GPS or practically anything else. Same thing with cell phones. I don't know how to use them so I no longer own one. The owner's manual with the phone had the instructions in such a tiny font, that I couldn't read them with a very powerful magnifying glass.

Thanks for your help. With an in-car charger, that is. The rest is just a minor rant.
