Static noise on wake-up by Task Scheduler (Windows 7)

Hey guys, so after discovering the awesome power of Task Scheduler, I decided to throw out my current alarm clock and replace it with an $800 one. Everything works perfectly until the task executes ("launches" an internet radio file played by VLC), it wakes up my computer from hybrid sleep, I hear static noise on the speakers (about 2 seconds) and then starts playing music.

The second time I tested this, there was static noise on startup, it happened exactly at the same moment when all the LEDs from my USB items light up.

The third time I tested it, it did the same, but when it started playing the radio the sound was all distorted, it was like the computer was applying the static noise to the outgoing sound.

This only happens when Task Scheduler wakes up my computer. If I wake it up, there's no static noise and everything is normal.

Whats going on?

Update, removing my microphone from the onboard sound input fixed the noise problem.

Just posting for people that may have the same problem in the future.
