Well I just joined these forums. I did some looking around and I still can't find answers, so that is why I came here! Hopefully I can find some good suggestions.

What is your maximum budget? $500

What country are you in? United States

What will be the uses of this laptop? Me and only me

Do you have brand loyalty or care which brands we select for you? Don't really care.

What screen size do you require? No smaller than 15.6

What screen resolution do you require? Doesn't matter

Are you looking to buy NEW or would refurbished/recertified/used be okay? New

How long should the battery last? (Under optimal conditions, no movies/games/heavy internet) 3-5 hours.

What games would you like to play with your laptop? And on what settings? Just some regular RPGs. Forsaken world, perfect world, etc.. on medium settings, not to high or low.

What operating system do you need? (if any) Doesn't matter. I have a windows 7 disc

Is there a certain style of laptop you want? (aluminum, black, gaming, etc.) Nope

How much hard drive space do you need? 300-500GB

Do you need any special hardware? (blue ray, webcam, specialty ports, etc.) Nope

Is there anything else we need to know? Nope

I would definitely go with this over the ones posted above me as this one has a sandy bridge cpu and sandy bridge integrated graphics are much better than the core 2 duo integrated

Thanks for the replies so far guys. I appreciate it. I was looking at the best buy website and I found this. I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to laptops and computers, so I'm not sure if this one is that great.

It is ok, a little more than I would pay for it though. The sandy bridge integrated GPU is a lot better than previous integrated GPU's, so if you want to get the most for your money I would choose the laptop I suggested.

Intel graphics are weak, I have the 4500mhd in my laptop which is the core 2 duo integrated and it barely plays half life 2, I can't really play counter strike with it.
