Mobile i5 sucks?

Hi everyone!
i had got a new laptop for me...
the HP probook 4420s..
it has got a core i5 450 m processor in it...
but sadly only intel hm57 chipset and no discrete graphics!

So u ppl might have guessed that i cant use it for gaming even a little bit....
like deadrising 2 runs at 15 fps ant all minimum setting....[ps not talk of antialising at hm57 DOES NOT supprt it! ]

Is there any way i can increase the performance of the laptop?
also 1 of my friends installed a discrete graphics card in a laptop....
is that possible in my case or im done????

Thanks in advance!

well the probook (recent gen)
The dark bownish one with the matted screen does have the option of either a 5470 or a 4250 Radeon. Both are integrated, and if i recall correctly they are soldered on-board the mobo. Adding a gpu will be out of the question...

Well it has a glossy screen!! so i dont think it supports onboard graphics of amd or ati... what ever you like.

Any other method to increase the performance.... i mean i cant even overclock it! though very risky! indeed...

If it doesn't have a discrete GPU as it is, there nothing you can really do in terms of gaming performance.

I don't really know why you say that. My GF has the same chip in her laptop, has the intel HD graphics in it along with an HD 5730, but if you switch it to the intel graphics it still is a pretty worthy gaming laptop. Most games have to be lower settings, but it still runs them.

sorry man it simply isn't going to happen without seriously modifying the pc. (like cutting open the bottom and doing some serious soldering work to get an MXM or MXM 2.0 slot in there...

Lemme just say, Dead Rising 2 didn't even really run that good when I had a GTX 480 and a Q9550. On my laptop I've used the integrated GPU (it's an i5 480M) once or twice and it wasn't really that bad. I think part of it is you're running a game that was poorly optimized to begin with.
