Intel core duo E4500 overlocking - Page 2

I used to run E4500 @ 3GHz with 1.344v. I was just using the stock cooler and temps never went passed 62°c at full load.

Great, trying to do so too

I am playing with it a bit. change the ratio to 3:2 but it gets too hot again, seem like the optimal set has been linked 1:1(1000-500) 2.75GHZ.
I wonder though if decreasing multiplayer from 11 would have helped? (my fsb seem to be 250x11on full load)
And also , there is an option to increase fun rates at BIOS. wouldn't that improve cooling?
It's set now to 600or800 , next options are 1000+

Do I need to unlink the FSB MEMory mode as the only way to set it up to 800?
Right now is around 500mhz which is pretty low.
Many thanks!
That is low for the rams, think about it the rams are 800 stock and you have them in 500.
Try to unlink or raise the ram multiplier.
Good job.
With pleasure,I'm here to help you,you can PM me at any time.
