Help me overclock my memory

Thread Starter
So I wanted to oc my Ram but I have no idea what all the timings are and stuff, all I know so far is how to change the multiplier, voltage and I know how to change the Timing but I don't know what to set them too.

I've read some about the timings and i understand it a bit more, but is there like some limit to overclocking ram?

Honestly, I recommend simply raising your speeds from 1333 to 1600 and leaving the rest alone.

There are guides (that can be found here) that will tell you what every one of those sections of RAM timings mean, I would want to know this before I change any of them.

That's what i've read

but I still don't know if you have to use higher timings for higher speeds? or it would explode?
or can I leave the timings and get some higher speed, because that would be the same as raising the speed and timings , then lowering timings???

Doesn't hurt to try increasing the speed, worst that can happen is a failed overclock or stress test. Go for 1866 & see if it can get into windows & pass some testing. If not you can try loosening the timings or increasing the vdimm a bit (if they are at 1.5V can go up some).
