Why don't you use some ducktape to fix it?

Seriously though, you shouldn't EVER let your fans free spin. You'll kill the bearings that way.

I'll never forget getting drunk at my friend's house and watching my drunk friend get mesmerized by a 2000 rpm led fan and stick his finger in there. Broke a fin off and split his finger open... Was hilarious to see though.

I broke a fin off my Panaflo with my left elbow.

my friend put a delta 120mm next to his gt460 Cyclone ... was getting good temps but then when he went to extract the fan it raised slightly and hit blades with the stock cyclone cooler and shattered one of the fins.. it was pretty funny. but we superglued the fin back onto the cyclone and it works fine still.

OP: Let me guess you the type of guy that scrapes out the food processor with your bare hand while the blade is still in and plugged into mains power?
