Looks good to me...do you want to try to save any money or get any better parts?

Best bang for a buck. Is the C300 still the best?

I'd say it is. It reads faster then other ssd in the random and sequential reads too. Allthough for $170 you can get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233160

Don't. Just don't.
That MSI board and an 1100T is just begging for blown fets.
You could get a 1055T which generally seem to clock quite well though you don't have an aftermarket CPU cooler so are you planning to OC?
That hard drive will be fairly slow as well since it's only 5400RPM. I would seriously look into the 7200RPM 1TB Spinpoint.
I'm not sure if Nvidia has fixed it by now, but the 570's are also known for blowing their VRMs.
I wouldn't get that case either because there's only two places for any case fans. It also has no room behind the motherboard tray to route cables.
And depending on what you'll be doing, 8GBs may be more than you need.

And used items are easily the best bang for buck though some things you shouldn't buy used.

Your right about the mobo, but if he doesn't overclock it is fine....also the reason the vrms are blowing on the 570s is b/c ppl disable a feature for the power mangement when they overclock. If he doesn't oveclock he is fine but if he plans too i suggest a diffent motherboad and a 1090t.

I would strongly recommend holding off until after bulldozer is released, because that way the prices of the AM3 stuff will be cheaper, and you can also buy new tech if you want to go down the more expensive path...

Hate to say it, but for that budget you'd get much more performance from a i5 2500k

I would agree with this and I like AMD stuff, but you'd have to put more budget into the board.

If you decide to stay with AMD and overclock, definitely try to get an Asus or Gigabyte board with the green colored text in this list of motherboards. This is what the others meant about the VRMs on your board. The more phases or if it is split phases, the less stress they have when you run more voltage through them.

If you decide to run stock, then any board with 4+1 power phase should be good for you.

Seems a bit silly for someone to post about their build on a site called overclock.net and not plan to overclock.
It's like posting about your new wireless controller on a site called keyboardandmouseordie.com.
