The GA-Z68X-UD3P-B3 is based on Intel's new Z68X chipset which is basically the P67 chipset plus IRST (Intel Rapid Storage Technology). The Z68X-UD3P comes in the same slick black look that we first saw with the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD5 The UD3 is the fourth tier in Gigabyte's Z68X family, below the top UD7, UD5 and UD4 models. There are, a little confusingly, four UD3 models, we have the P variant. The H variant supports on board graphics output and is expected to be the base model in the range selling at around £127. The GA-Z68X-UD3-B3, which has the traditional blue and white PCB at £131. The GA-Z68X-UD3R doesn't appear to be listed other than on Gigabyte's site so far. The GA-Z68X-UD3P is around £148..... |
