Need help with this! Mixed opinions :(

Hello all! Yet another new guy on forums and yet another maybe stupid question So to get on business: I decided to upgrade PSU so I can get my rig ready for new components! Choice is between Cooler Master Gold 1200W which is aroundish 215Euros or Seasonic X850W aroundish 180Euros. So what I'm planing is to get new board with fx990 chipset together with one of new bulldozers when they come out, and to run 6950 in crossfire. I want to chose decent PSU which will serve me for a good 3-4 years or maybe more! I kinda ran onto some good reviews on seasonics side, not to bad reviews on cm but I wanna hear some of your opinions or maybe some personal experiences Cheers!

I say get teh Seasonic, they make some of the best PSU's. Also 850 watt is plenty for those cards.

iirc the seasonic X850 is exactly the same components as the Corsair AX850? (same factory)

I would go for the cheapest one between those two and give the coolermaster a miss

Seasonic is a very solid quality unit and should meet your needs for the next several years. Unless you're planning on doing a Quad 580's you shouldn't need anything near that 1200w PSU

You don't need anymore than 650w for two 6950's.
