Thinking about getting 2 6950's wet. - Page 2

Any reason why you want to wc the mobo? If you ditch that, you can run your CPU and two GPU's with just get the RX360 kit. I am currently running that with just fans in push configuration. My GPU temps stays around 45c at full load. On the hottest days, it may go to low 50s.

Keep in mind I'm on the same setup(ish), with an overclocked 2600k, and two overclocked watercooled 6950s, with the HW labs GTX360 with 2100rpm fans on it.... So honestly I'm not sure how honest that chart will be about the performance of your radiator, and I'm red-lining my radiator when doing full folding on CPU+2GPUs. I would say you'd either need a radiator upgrade, or a radiator addition.

With the 140mm radiator, why doesn't it fit? I guess first, do the holes line up, second does the radiator hit the fans up top or the case to the side when lined up? I don't know how it doesn't fit? Sorry if I'm being repetitive/hard headed tongue.gif

Well I have to admit sheepishly that I last tinkered with this in August of last year and I have forgotten what my problem was =/ I do remember that there is a reason I left the rad in the box after everything though.

Well it's already underwater? Honestly it was fun. I didn't have to for certain my NB temps never got terribly hot with the airflow my case provided. I think I simply wanted to get everything wet.

Lol time to break out the box again. It won't be more work than just removing the 140mm fan, holding up the radiator, checking the holes, then putting the 140 back till you decide what to do tongue.gif

Bah I hate watercooled motherboards.... We're not on NF4 or 478 boards anymore people! motherboards run just fine passively, and many motherboard blocks are the most restrictive blocks you can add to your loop! Hopefully yours isn't one of the restrictive ones.

Considering I mounted the fan with those silicon plugs its a piece of cake rolleyes.gif

But yeah its the DD block for the R3E and it's really very easy to pass through. I would argue far less constricting than my XSPC CPU block. The reason I'm asking all this was to get my order in before end of business day, alas I may not get it put back together before monday.

On another note, I've also been considering upgrading to the Corsair 800d or the Xigamatech Elysium

i have a quad rad on my 932, you could also get a 120 rad and put it in the bottom of your case
