Brian Crecente — A new interpretation of the classic Rainbow Six, the tough-as-nails tactical shooter that asked gamers to carefully plan out the nuance of a breach like a choreographed dance, is in the works, a source familiar with the unannounced Ubisoft shooter tell Kotaku.

We've also heard that the game will in many ways be a departure from the sameness found in Rainbow Six: Vegas and its sequel, and a return to what helped separate the shooter from others of its ilk.

It's unclear if the in-development game will be shown at E3.
Can't wait!

Wonderful, now if they'll give Ghost Recon the same treatment I'll be as happy as a pig in slop.

That's great news. I was a fan of the originals, not so much the newer ones. I hope they have a wide variety of weapons though. I don't like CoD series but they always have some interesting guns that were in development in last decade.

I know what you mean. When I got both of them that was all I would play for like months. I actually RB6: Vegas 2...So much easier to level up in.

OT: Supa excited!!! Been waiting since RB6: Vegas 2 came out for another one!!!
