How do I get to the hard drive? - Page 2

Epic fail on HP. It really should not be that difficult to remove anything from a computer...

There should be a screw hole in the floor. Unscrew it and it should come out. I see these things all the time at work. It's bloody annoying. Frackin' HP.

Pretty sure you need to take the front Bezel off. I had a similar if not the exact same PC.

Also found a nifty service guide

Your welcome

I had this case and the front bezel must come off via a few tabs on the inner left hand side of the inner chassis in which once disengaged it's removed then you'll see a few screws that affix that cage then once taken out there is a tab inside the case corresponding with the cage that you pull gently (a tad) towards you while sliding that cage out the front.

This is why everything should adhere to ATX form factor. Proprietary designs are always a pain.

I "inherited" mine from the curb, then modded it so it breathed better by gutting the original hard drive supports and tray then repaired a AM2 motherboard and now my brother is using it.
