Questions on my Titanium Hd and 5.1

Thread Starter
I have the Titanium HD... but I can return it still. I have had nothing but problems for 1, I still can't get my console launcher to open.

I am asking for advice on.. If I were to purchase these 5.1 speakers from BJORNS for 350.00 (on sale) *Definitive PC60.6*

^^^ link from definitive website. Is there a better sound card I need to get or whats the recommendations. I would need to get a receiver as well which one should I get or may I by used? BJORNS wanted 500$ for a new Yamaha or Dennon Receiver.

A stock Titanium HD won't work for your 5.1 speakers. I don't think there's an expansion card out for it either.

Just my suggestion but I say you should make sure that your speakers can decode DTS-HD audio that way you can avoid having to buy a receiver.

no response from creative yet? Its your ssd causing the console launcher problem. Can't believe creative haven't fixed it yet.
If you want 5.1 hook up the card via optical to a receiver if you got one. 5.1 you'll mostly get with movies. With music stereo

Dts-HD Hdmi or analog. Impossible with the titanium. Via optical it will downsample it to 16bit

OP your going to loose you positional sound if you do away with the soundcard so if your using cans then the next suggestion won't be good for it

Here's a good Yamaha Receiver

It goes for 244 at Newegg.
Hook up your gpu via Hdmi with it. You'll be able to get True HD without being downsampled with it.

I'm stumped.

L337Something and I are talking about this in private messages, and I learned that when he tries to open Console Launcher it responds with that error that it can't find a compatible device (or some "can't find device" type of message).

Help!
