It's not like a port to consoles was unexpected. They've been saying since the beginning that consoles would get a port after the PC version was finished.

The first Witcher was supposed to be on consoles too until they had decided that resources would've been better spent on a sequel.

You really think I'm the only one who think so? I lol at the fact that not many of y'all played the first witcher and then all these new fans comes along and will defend the second game to the death for some reason even though there are legitimate issues. If you think the controls and the game wasn't designed for console control, then I lol at your naivety.

except the entire control scheme is optimized for a controller. Holding down ctrl, the inability to bind keys ingame & the strange targeting mechanic all suggest this.

True words this was the first thing which strike me in Witcher 2.
They would have much harder work to port first on which was a typical PC RPG title
but this one was designed to be ported to consoles one look at controls and
it's evident.
None the less it's a great game and i rather have that than games like Crysis2
which got killed completely by going multiplatform.

This is bad news....... When they see most of their money coming from console they will probably make the witcher 3 a console game then ported to pc. I smell crysis in this.
