Bought MSI 560Ti Twin Frozr II 1GB

Thread Starter
Hey everyone,

I've just purchased a 560Ti TwinFrozr for the lovely price of £175

I've only seen good reviews for this card, particularly its overclocking abilities

Is the 1Ghz overclock easily obtainable?

Any other owners here with this GPU?

I will be glad to get rid of the hot 'n hungry 4870X2! I've had an 8800GT before the 4870x2 and I loved it, never had any issues in over 2 years. Seem to generally get on better with Nvidia stuff.

950-1000MHz core is pretty common (with voltage tweaks). You might get lucky... you might not.

Did you purchase it from aria.co.UK by any chance? I am buying one of these next week.

BOOTY would also say : DON"T GO CRAZY on the memory overclock!!!

LOL!
Sorry Booty

I dont buy a graphics card factoring-in overclocking...I tried 925 on my cards in sLI, there is a small incentive to do so, not much...

Got one in the mail yesterday. $191 openbox with shipping from Newegg. The openbox deal is pretty legit for US users that are interested. It came missing some accessories, the driver disk, and free Lara Croft game, but it registered for warranty without a problem.

Coming from SLI 260 216's it isn't a huge performance bump for me. I just wanted a DX11 card and the price point was right.

Every card is slightly different, but as Booty Warrior said, 950-1000 is pretty common. My Hawk is running at 980 @1.037v.

It's sort of a rite of passage to kill an expensive piece of hardware (or 2) around here.

Haha well I I'm gonna run it stock for a few weeks to get a feel for it first.

Don't want to kill it too soon!
