Will a Corsair CX600 V2 sufficiently run my new setup?

Hello,

Please be gentle, this is my first post redface.gif. I did a search and did not find an answer to my question. This is my first time building a rig and I want to make sure to not skimp on the power supply.

Setup

i5-2500K
Asus P8P67 Deluxe
G. Skill Sniper Series 8GB (4x2) 1866
MSI 560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II Golden Edition
Crucial M4 128GB
Samsung F3 1TB
Asus DVD Writer
Media Card Reader

The main thing is I don't want to risk my setup by using a poor PSU. I read on this board the prior unit was a rebranded 500 watt PSU. Do I have anything to worry about? I will probably buy a newer video card when the new AMD/Nvidia models come out. Something along the lines of a 6970/570/580, but I can also wait until I purchase that card.

it's a quality psu so it's more than enough to run your setup smile.gif A 500 watt would even be sufficient.

Yes, you'd be fine even with a quality 500W. You'll be able to handle a 580 with that, or even SLI 560 Tis if you felt like it.

Also, welcome to OCN! You might want to add those system specs to your signature using the User CP on the heading bar for ease of asking questions such as this one.

Thank you both for alleviating my concerns. Although I must admit, spending all of this money recently almost willed me into another purchase. "The AX850 is on sale! And I have a coupon code! And it combos for another $20 off! How can I lose?"
