[Solved]Vac bans for autoexec?

Thread Starter
I have been getting terrible hit registration in TF2 lately so I googled it and found something that might work:
Here for reference
It requires the use of autoexec.cfg and a command, cl_intepr
I defiantly do NOT want to be VAC banned so I'm asking if I will get VAC banned for using autoexec.cfg? Also is this considered cheating?

Thanks

Solved, thanks guys, for others tl;dr version: autoexec will not get you VAC banned, and adjusting rates is common

No vac will never ban you for a autoexec.cfg. Most of there games has that feature in the game to begin with. So run it and be happy.
Console commands (which is all autoexec.cfg does) is built into the game and no console command by itself can cause a VAC ban. So in short, you're perfectly fine. Not to mention autoexec.cfg execution is built into the game engine.

Using a hack to use disabled console commands for example, WOULD be considered hacking and prone to a VAC ban. That does not apply to this case though.

No. Tweaking your rates etc is actually pretty common.

The only way you could annoy other players (and probably yourself) is by messing around with rates so you lag. Seen as you're trying to do the opposite its not an issue.
