CPU doesn't really do much in games.

Don't take it personally, but polls and questions like this upon the speculation of possible performance from what very little information is available is, well, pointless.

I understand the point trying to spur enthusiasm for a product not yet released and quelling your inner thirst for prophetic discourse on it's performance, but questions like those (in the OP) are spark plugs for benevolent mindless posts.

And so, I'll bite.

I think it's OVER 9000...........

assuming that he means in a theoretical game that is only held back by the cpu, BD will be leaps and bounds over the phenom 2, so there should be a huge difference

in any game besides that, it would probably be negligible

Where's the negative option? AMD can still surprise us.

Thread Starter
I don't really know what I meant or expect "in games"

maybe the minimum frame rate, where ever that can be blamed on the CPU

or what a BD will allow a CF to do compared to same CF with pII

EDIT:And I'm afraid to restart my PC since I had to reinstall win7 about +8 times since friday, due to registry corruption, seemingly caused by CCC HDMI/DP audio drivers and the ASUS disk realtek audio drivers conflicting
