Hi guys, tomorow i am upgrading my sound system and i will start with the sound card.So i dont like the onboard audio of the ASUS M4A89GTD PRO ,its sounds good but too much static noise, scratch noises every 10-20 mins and when the pc shuts duwn it blows my ears with really loud scratch noisessss.
So i am going to buy one of the two cards, which one to be?

http://www.asus.com/Multimedia/Audio...specifications

OR

http://www.asus.com/Multimedia/Audio...specifications

My audio setup is(old )Technics SU-V300 amp+Technics digital sound processor SH-GE90+2xJamo Cornet 195+1x12' 200w Thunder Woofer
( When the vol is at max those Jamo's blow the ****zzzzz out of me )

Yes, the DS will be louder than the onboard and it will drive your headphones with no problems. The headphones have a 32ohm resistance, which in headphone terms means easy to drive.

Take the DG. There's no reason to spend more for a DS.

Creative site really sucks
I think its this one : http://en.store.creative.com/sound-b...e/1-14257.aspx

Is it good, now downloading driver,win7 64bit doesn even show it like a device in device manager?!?!?! I've disabled the onboard sc.

Ok i installed it,now it works driver instaled fine, sonds great and makes my headphones really loud, the sound is superb.Well i think i like it but wouldnt the xonar dg be better?

Guys i cant believe all the sounds i've been missing theese years,i just played Crysis2 and man this card is wonderfull(so much sounds) even with those crappy headphones the sounds are great i am verry happy.so admins can delete this theme ill be sticking with this card sometime
