Anyone RMA with Gigabyte before?

I've never RMA'd with Gigabyte so can someone clarify if this means they are sending back the original card because they found nothing wrong with it or are they sending me something that works? Just a little bit confused, thanks in advance to anyone with helpful input.

On a side note, I sent in the card because it crashed at just about everything with stock clocks and volts.

Assuming they have run tests on the card and it hasn't had any problems.

What was wrong with the card when you had it?

If it comes back and still has problems, just call them and tell them exactly what you're doing when the card fails and send it back to them

They sent me a motherboard back because they deemed it working but half the RAM slots didn't work, they can miss things sometimes

Email Gigabyte and ask them? Seems strange that they wouldn't tell you if they were sending you a new or replacement card though.

First of all, I'm assuming you first called their tech departement to figure out what the problem might be. Then they figured it was the card and assigned you an RMA # to send to them?

If above is true first, then I'm assuming that the card was tested in their system and it is working fine or they fixed it and it's being returned in working condition.

If you didn't do the first steps through tech and then them assigning your an RMA # then that's your problem. You can't just send a card to the company without them trying to trouble shoot it for you. They'll just send it right back to you without an RMA # without doing anything.

Please let us know what the case is and how this turns out. I'm always curious on how customer service handles things for each company.

OFF Topic, EVGA's customer service is the best bar none.

I can't say one way or the other, but it's the same email I got when they shipped my MA790X-UD4P back to me. Dead when I sent it, works like a charm now.

Sounds like they fixed it then. Just didn't go into detail. When you get it back it will be functional. If they couldn't have fixed it, it would have said something like we've sent a replacement card.
