Okay, see you in 10 years PCM.

So, just for comparison purposes, what's the median speed of high performance state of the art SSDs?

You are actually partially correct, the memory "chip" as in 1/8 of what you would use in a parallel SSD, is 7 times faster at worse than your whole high end SSD at it's best. If you produce more complete stats with a proper 8 channel SSD with this new memory. A drive would be at the very least 56 times faster or up to 224 times faster than an actual SSD in large transfers wich PCM apparently excels at.

Me wants PCM SSD.

Who wants a new liver, I need to buy new storage devices!

I guess these things are more viable than we first may have imagined!

One? I'm thinking two in PCI Slots with a PCI Raid Controller!

Is there any connection method that actually can support these speeds?
My bad, I misread the specs they gave, the speed comparison is chip to chip, so my overinflated numbers are way off target. So one big question remains about this tech, does it have better longevity than Flash? And while we're at it does it scale better than Flash to smaller processes?
