Issues with Impulse

So, am I an idiot for buying a game from Impulse? Saw a great deal, Crysis 2 50% off. I ordered it, paid with a credit card, and was charged immediately.

I never received a confirmation email, explanation of next steps, or any link for download. Even worse, it appeared back in my cart when I loaded the client, which is almost like it's there to entice someone to re-buy again thinking it didn't go through. This company never responds to emails, has almost 0 customer service. I can only blame myself. Was hoping to try that game out on my rig tonight, and that's obviously not going to happen.

What a terrible experience.

impluse is a good company that was bought by some other corp. You should email/contact them. Either that or call your bank and report fraud. I doubt that Impluse would not give you back money/process your order though.

edit: was purchased by gamestop recently http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impulse...nt_delivery%29

That's good info to have. I was just so disappointed, won't be playing any Crysis tonight, was expecting a Steam-like experience.

If I don't hear back tomorrow AM, I will call my bank.

So the game isn't showing up in your "My Games" tab? I would make sure you are showing all applications (View - Uncheck Hide Non-installed Applications).

I've never had an issue with Impulse myself but it seems like their servers get overwhelmed easily when they actually put up a good deal.
