6950 + CFX + AB: 2nd card stays at stock speeds

Thread Starter
I've seen this in some other threads but can't find a real solution for it.

-CCC 11.5, crossfire enabled and working
-ULPS disabled
-AMD overdrive turned off
-"sync" setting checked in AB 2.2.0 beta 3, both cards clocked to 900/1400 @1.15v

During gaming (BFBC2) the first card is at the desired speeds while the second card stays at stock. I've also tried manually enabling the overclock profile thru global hotkey before starting the game, but same result.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get both cards running at the desired speed?? Thanks!

It's a thing with AB. I just realized that my setup has been doing that too... Very annoying. I disabled AB and went with Racer-X's registry tweak to expand CCC's overclocking options. It lets you set whatever clocks you want in CCC, so no more messing with AB unless you need to adjust voltage, and that means that no more powertune annoyances between switching around multiple programs.

The info on his registry tweaking program is here

Trixx is better at setting voltages too btw, if you go that direction.

Now that I've uninstalled AB, I may check out Trixx for voltages if it makes life less of a headache than AB was.

BTW I repped you for your sharing of the Racer-X reg tweak

Yeah Afterburner is buggy as h*ll with these cards. I quit using it a while ago.
