The thing that pisses me the MOST in BC2 are the hit boxes ... I mean, I get hit by bullets when I'm 1-2 meters behind a corner. Things get heated up and I quickly run behind a corner thinking I'm safe when suddenly I get hit by bullets and i die. That pisses me off the most.

The second thing is the hit reg. Sometimes it fails HARD. Shooting a guy 5 times in the back with a pump action shotgun is not right. Sometimes, when I shoot a guy a full mag, even tho the first half of the bullets hit, and I can see them hit with the blood and all, it wont register. Pisses me off. Shooting a guy with the REX pistol up close, six shots so that the first 3 fail and the last 3 get registered pisses me off again. Thats BS. Doesn't happen all the time tho and I know its mostly related to your connection/ping but still ...

Even tho I don't use RPG's, in the rare occasions when I use one, shooting an RPG on the wall or whatever is behind the guy and doesn't kill him pisses me off. Or when I shoot it at his feet and he doesn't die.. WTH? I'm shooting an RPG not a pea gun.

Sometimes when you stop to shoot, your bullets spread way more than they should, even tho I'm firing one at a time. WTH is that? Its like my soldier is suddenly drunk and can't hold the gun straight. This happens the most with the VSS and the G3 (In my experience at least. Shooting 1 bullet every half or 1/3 of a second).

Anyway, the only things that annoy me about the game is hit-reg and the lack of any team-balance mechanism.

when the whole team camps.

medic that dont heal/revive

chasing a tank trying to repair it while spamming the q button with the repair tool out to let them know you are coming, 5 minutes later when you catch up with the tank, it runs over you.

people standing 5 meters from active mcom who cant move their asses and defuse.

having a team with 10 snipers but they cant protect an armed mcom or clear you way from enemy snipers.

when i see 6 people waiting for a 2 man chopper to spawn.

lol. I think it's great seeing that. You know you can just sit back and laugh whilst the enemy overruns you then RPGs your heli when it spawns anyway.

I can understand that, however, it's not as bad as they portray it.

And lets say that it is realistic, why is it that you can see just fine through the binoc's yet the scope is totally washed out?

If you ever look at a real scope, the lenses are actually much further in from the end. Basically, they're more shrouded to prevent that glare. Whereas the binoc's aren't really shrouded at all.

I think it's just done in an attempt to "balance" a map, hence the white washing of the scope doesn't happen on all snow and desert maps, just some.

I suppose I'd just like some consistency.

I've had that happen several times. Sometimes it's even worse than that. This is a really old "trick". It's been happening since BF1942. And if you think it's bad in BFBC2, you're sorely mistaken. This was a mainstay of BF1942, BF2, BF2142 to take out tanks and such.
People used to REALLY complain about it. But it doesn't happen so much anymore.

Campin their main is stupid and pointless. I too get frustrated with these players. I don't care if they camp, but at least move up once in a while to be of some help.

That's an issue with your sound card and the game not cooperating. Try updating your Xonar's driver and see if it takes care of the issue. If not, when you get the crash, open up task manager, click on processes and see if there is a strange .exe running.
I had this same issue with BF2142 (when it came out) and my XFI. It'd crash to desktop with a looping sound from the game. In task manager I found that every time this happened, there was a process named "~000006.exe" running. I'd end task this process and the sound loop would go away.

I sent Creative a trouble ticket and there was an updated driver released shortly thereafter which took care of the issue.

Yeah the bullet physics are completely inconsistent. With some rifles it doesn't drop at all, and yet with others, it'll drop like 2 feet every 100m. Can make sniping very difficult.

But I wholeheartedly agree about the assault rifles. they're too accurate from too far away. I can pick people off from damn near across the map, depending on the map of course, with ease using an LMG or an assault rifle. Yet with the sniper I'm getting 10 feet of bullet drop.

If they're going to have bullet drop, ALL guns and weapons should have it, not just the sniper.

Oooooo glad you brought up the m95. It's SEVERLY underpowered. The M95 rifle was originally designed to take out lightly armored vehicles. In RL, it doesn't even have to hit you to cause damage to you, it just has fly next to you because it has so much velocity. Yet in BFBC2, you'd be hard pressed to take someone out in 1 shot.

Besides, softcore is too easy. I mean, come on, 3D spotting, map spotting, kill cam. All of those things just make it too noobish for me. Whenever I play softcore I get so many pins and awards, that I'll literally have to scroll over for a while so I can see them all.

Not to mention, the damage done by the weapons in softcore is so screwed up it silly. More than one shotgun blast at close range to kill someone? Have to shoot them repeatedly in the head to get a kill. That was my biggest gripe during beta. I'd pump a full clip into someone, and just barely kill them. Glad they fixed it somewhat.

Because the military uses tracer rounds all the time right? They don't because the phosphorus that make the bullets tracer rounds would plug up the barrel and make the weapons useless. The only guns that use tracers are the big guns. Like the HMG mounted to tanks and the mini-gun mounted to choppers. And even then, it's only like every 10th round that's a tracer.

Although, with as heavy as a sabot round is, it really should have considerably more drop than a sniper's bullet.

Yes, but not sniper-rifle accurate.

Being able to out-snipe snipers with assault rifles and LMGs from 3/4 map is pretty silly - though great for a non-sniper like me.

True enough. DICE has always had issues with the sniper rifles. In BF1942, the engineers non-scoped Springfield rifle was WAY more accurate from far off distances than the scoped Springfield the snipers used.

I'm fairly new to it, but here is what I hate most.

Not giving you the repair tool and medic things until you reach a certain level. There is no reason to play those classes without them. I still don't have them.

The gol sniper magnum. I hate this. everyone uses it, and its overpowered.

Levelling up is too slow.

I swear the Russian tanks aren't as good as the American tanks, but that could just be me.

How all the servers with people on are either full, or have unplayably high pings.
