Currently using single HD6950 unlocked. I have it overclocked to 880/1375 stable with no additional cooling. Usually 60-70C idle and 80C in games after running for a long time. I'm getting bad tearing on the secondary monitor (fine on primary) in extended mode in windows. It happens only if i try to overclock the memory clock.

I tried vsync always on and it didn't work. After doing some research changing the idle mem clock to 1375 will solve the problem. I'd like to avoid flashing again if possible, so is there another solution? How will damage long term will I do to my card by changing idle mem clock from 1250->1375?
