It's Shinetzu and while it's good the main problem is they add a bit too much, really though it would only drop you 2 degrees at most, not worth buying a TIM and dealing with applying it correctly.

That's the name i was looking for! haha thanks!!!. i was all nervous this would look total noob i kinda cheated and just chose 250 and dropped the ram multiplier down so it was a little closer to stock the did the cpu multiplier and then prime 95 crashed so i upped the vcore to 1.50. and ran prime for 30 mins. im going to drop the v core a bit and run prime for a few hours. and hopefully my temps will drop a little bit

and what cheap tweaks do you recommend? i would like to get a better gpu and hd as you can see my sig is lacking in those departments. kinda off topic from the o.c. but w/e. i feel if i had some better ram that has a bit more head room i'd get more out of this o.c..If i got some, would you recommend leaving fsb alone and upping the ram multiplier or vice versa? im also going to go and see if i can 4.4 stable tonight with the cpu multi

Might be worth a try just using the multi. There is no real benefit to using the reference clock from the testing I did. I got my 965 stable at 4.3 with 1.44v doing it this way.

As far as GPU if you stay with nvidia 560, 560 Ti and 570 are probably the best performance to price after that the price jumps way up for ~5 fps. Really at the point you're at you're going to just get limited by the hardware itself temperature isn't everything and at this point with you OC, nothing you can do will show a performance increase you can notice, just a number.

thanks for the great info, i really appreciate it! i think I'll use that advice and go increase my cpu multi to get 4.4, however, in your opinion would it be better to drop my fsb to 200 then? im a little confused by you last post *headdeskfail*
