Hi,

My first Thread/was between (i7 2600k vs 980).
Result was:
- 88 votes to 2600
- 9 votes to 980
But most comment agree that i should go for 2500k instead of 2600k (Save some $$, more stable than HT... )

Today i want to chose between (ASUS MAXIMUS IV EXTREME vs ASUS P8P67 PRO vs Gigabyte P67 UD7-B3)

Which one is the best for:

- Gaming
- OC'ing (stable and less troubles)
- Sli GTX 285 (now) 580 soon.

$$$ not that big issue, if the broad will give me more OC'ing and stability..

Thank you

You don't care about the price ? As for me the UD7 would be the overall best choice only if money is independent. If you answer me this question i will vote

EDIT: Just voted for the UD7, it simply just has the best overclock potential. Using its 24 Phases which generates so smooth and stable energy to the CPU.

Simple, if you don't care about the price, I'd say the Maximus. A really great board. In any other case, I'd go P8P67 Pro...but that's only cause every other gigabyte board I've had has died, but the last one I owned was a EP45-DS3R..so...things may have changed.

Ofc things change..

Matey, i have had an old ASUS board aswell, but that board over volted my graphic card and burned both the motherboard and my graphic card off. That doesn't mean i dislike ASUS

Whatever you do, dont get the Pro, very unreliable and alot of problem, it have great feature but only if the board work, look up review of the p67 pro on newegg , only 3 eggs overall compare to every other board

ud7 gets my vote...

i am tired of the red and black color scheme.
in my book it's ud7/maximus tie then the p8p67 pro
{i'd actually place the p8p67 pro slightly behind the ud4 b3}
