You might want to route the 8-pin EPS connector to run under the video card and up the left side of the motherboard to where it connects to the motherboard.
Yeah I probably should have tried that. It's a horrible spot to have the connection because the top mounted fan takes up most of the space right next to it.

This mobo really gave me a scare though, it has a bunch of switches on it for different things, and the one to unlock cpu cores had been left switched on from the manufacturer. So the system would boot up fine but every time Windows started to load into it's installation it would hang on me.

At first I didn't have a clue why it was acting so funny. After staring at the system while it was running for a few minutes I noticed a red led was on in a place I didn't recall mobos usually having an LED. Once I turned off the unlock cores function it booted up perfectly.

I've never built an AMD system till this one so it was quite a curve ball to deal with
