Unless Steam starts being terrible, I will never stop using them

EA Dead Space 2 and Dark Spore are $26-$28.
Valve games are in the same range but I dont have the latest game prices.

That's the reason why I only buy EA Games right now.

(Dont really like any current Valve games but I still like that they price their games the same as EA)
Oddly enough I'm really not a big valve fan either. I mean I love that they treat the PC community so good, no crappy console ports and the likes, but I've really never liked any of their games other than L4D. Portal was alright, the whole charm it had with the robots and the cake was really cute. Valve has amazing ideas, I just don't generally see them in their games. I was bored to death in HL2. Except that Ravenholm or whatever it was call, that was just darn tootin creepy

Does the program also run in the background during games? How much memory does it take?

Well you and me both. If there will be a valve game that I like I'll buy from them but right now EA games will be the only games that I buy.

I forgot to add though these are PC Prices. Console Prices are higher but I dont really know by how much

As long as EA don't force you to have it open when you play a game and it is only used for buying/downloading/updating games (and friends list if you want it) then that is fine by me.

I really hate having steam launch every time I play cod or any other game that requires it to launch.
I'd rather buy retail, to be honest.

Steam rules.
Not exactly true, some places steam charges a different rate in different countries. I am looking forward to seeing whether this EA store is willing to charge for games, lets hope it's competitive.

I would rather pay the extra money for a DLC and play it on Steam. everyone uses steam and it has a social network that all of my friends use already. I'm not running two programs to play my games that is so stupid. I understand competition but jesus this is so ass backwards

You can add retail games to it. Just entered CD keys for RA3 and BC2 into it right now
