The ram is at 1550 and NB is at 2900ish.

The SLI works great... I will have to get some benches done and post them up later.

I have to say I really like this board... The new BIOS is great... If I push it too hard I do not have to reset the BIOS it just says OC failed... and I can go about my business.

I personally like the layout better than the upcoming Crosshair. The Sabertooth will run Tri-SLI and the cards will not be right on top of each other (1 slot between them of extra space)
well that is some better news

Thanks for the info on a piece of hardware not to many people have their hands on yet. I'll be getting one of these in the next few weeks and appreciate the first hand non-review site info.

+ rep!

not to get off topic but I would do just that, I have owned both and AMD is a good PC for about anything and Intel well they are fast and all but you never feel as if you bought the right thing! I can't even count on how many socket changes they have gone through and each one has made the one before sound as if it was a mistake just like lga775 I keep hearing on how I should sell it and get a newer chip an board well I just bought it last year and it is JUNK to the Intel guys

Newegg is going to make it right for me, I guess now I'll go ahead and order that PSU from them afterall.

Two of my Asus boards are like that too. One was a 890 chipset, and the other is in my sig rig. I've never had to reset the BIOS on either when OCing.

I'm sure the true OC advantages this board has will be revealed once BD comes out.

SLI UPDATE:

I ran a couple benchmarks I had installed already... Mafia II and furmark.

My old system was 790FX w/sli hack... drivers 260.99

The Sabertooth has the newest quadro drivers 275.36 (not sure if anyone read my other post but the 275.33 drivers do not allow sli on the 990FX)

In Mafia 2 I only gained about 2 fps - 1920x1200 all settings maxed (PhsyX off)

In Furmark my average was 201 fps... that's up 7 fps from the old system

EDIT: are there any test you guys want to see me run?

wow I wonder if the 275.36 would work better on mine as well the last ones I was using before 275.33 where quatro drivers as thy were always better for stablness on my overclocking s just mite give those a try. I am also glad you found that out as The Butterz just went to Fry's today to pick this board up and he is running 460's that would piss him off lol so will tell him after he gets back on

If you could get a hold of a BE chip, I think alot of people here would like to see the max cpu/nb freq.

if he lived closer I would just bring mine over but you can't ask someone to buy a BE chip lol, I know there cheap now but dam lol.

He also posted that his cpu/nb was 2900 which even for the reg. version thats real good so I shur it would do as good with the BE chip, anyway it is not really the board that gets the nb up it is the chip and no two are alike so if your nb is 2600 most likely it would be 2600 on a new board
