Another reason not to buy razer - Page 14

Haters gotta Razer.

I found Ch123's pic distinctly political.

Anyway, you're going to flag me for this pic?

I love my Naga. It's the only Razer product I have ever owned, and it works perfectly for me.

I don't know if they grant it for Razer depending on the manufacturing plant/zone they are made in.

Anyway thats why the MS/Logitech peripherals cost more. You also need to compare prices between a legit retailer, and one of the grey/black markets.

That's right, hardware is 20 to 25% more expensive in China (cheaper in Hong Kong though, no import tax)

If you want to check out the prices from a trustworthy site, try www.360buy.com and see if it's cheaper.

As for razor, all i own from them is a mouse pad, which I paid 200RMB from 360buy.com (~30USD).

You can also check the prices at newegg china ...

Abyssus is 139 RMB

I doubt if there is extra crazy tax if Razer has a sud company in China which is a China company and all products are made in China, then basically it is a china company selling china made product.

Something like Razer China.

You mean a subsidiary? It's possible, but I doubt it if they're still using the Razer brand. Even if it's Razer China, there's no sign that it is. So it's still confusing the hell out of me how Razer is doing things so cheap. Most of the time you find stuff and it costs more than what you would pay in the states, barring Taobao, but even the legit stuff on Taobao is still more expensive. Maybe they somehow circumvent the import tax?

Wouldn't help. There is a 23% sales tax on computer hardware (except for intel and OCZ for some reason confused.gif). Nothing to be doubtful about, it's a fact.

I just order something from tao bao business website yesterday, 0% for tax. I have bought many things in shops in China, never heard of sales tax, at least not something like 23%.

I saw the price is RMB 70, the spent that much money to buy except pay little bit more for shipping.

They are using the razer brand the same as USA. Same website style, same logo, everything.

Here:
http://cn.razerzone.com

You can go to tao bao business center and search around, you can see the price. Even the razer China official price is way higher still cheaper than USA.

OK, I deleted all my "image board" pics due to sensitive OCN members complaints.

But I WOULD like to post this to show that Filco people are more mature than Razer Haters. You don't see US complaining about Japanese keyboards being cheaper in Japan ($118 at current exchange rates for the Cherry Brown on top).
