I can understand your point of view, but at the same time, if there are a lot of people complaining about problems with an item, then it is worth pointing this out to people in case there is an actual problem, that's what forums like this are for.

Obviously there is a fine line between pointless bashing and pointing out genuine issues that have arisen. If the person seeking advice is clever enough, they'll check out the claims, and look across different sources, and if they're too stupid to do that, and believe the first fanboy or hater rant they see, then there was no helping them anyway.

As I've said on another thread, Razer probably has many different OEMs making their peripherals for them, thus you can't say they're all bad if one is bad. Contrarily though, you can't say they're all good if most of them are good. It really has to be done on a case by case basis.

No wonder why razers build quality is so low
Cost of living is lower there. I assume taxes are as well.

Besides, it's not like they always make the same quality parts for each region. At least back in the day Indian computer peripherals that were cheap were simply bad lemons from the factory - wireless mice would often interfere with monitor display signals. You will find 100% legit stuff of course, but usually not nearly that cheap.

Also, we shouldn't be attacking Razer or any company itself - we should be attacking places like Walmart and such that take these extra inexpensive parts meant for lower price, overseas sales only to bring them to America for barely-less-than-American prices, and I'm not positive the customs tariffs they pay are enough to prevent this behavior. It's borderline criminal.

Filcos and Leopolds are cheaper in Japan than the USA. I assume Duckys too.

I guess there are other costs associated with living in China.

This is hardly a reason to not buy Razer product. So what if they're charging us extra? You as the consumer have the choice of what to buy. Don't feel like it's worth the money? Don't buy it. Simple as that. I've had my Deathadder for 3 years now and I can't even remember how many time's I've dropped it, sat on it, and abused it.. still working to this date.

Every other manufacturer jacks up the price too. Most, if not all, US branded keyboards are manufactured in China, imported here, marked up, and sold at a profit. That's how a business is run. Minimize production costs, maximize profit.

whats this link suppose to show? That razer's selling the keyboard/mouse set for $60.00 USD? (RMB 329)

Also don't forget the fact Razer's products selling here have to include all the Logistics Costs (Shipping, Customs Clearance, Delivery, Warehouse storage, distribution, etc)

And Also depends on where you are in China, I know when i run around Taiwan looking at computer parts, Asus/Gigabyte motherboards are significantly more expensive there than here in the USA.

This is fairly common and shows China's disregard for patents and intellectual property, and their contempt for international trade relationships.

Sadly, it would be corporate suicide for Razer to make allegations against China for what happens in China. This is the good and bad of using the cheap Chinese manufacturing, but in the end the company will go out of business, the customers will feel foolish for purchasing the junk, and a Chinese corporation will continue to produce and sell the original products in places that do not enforce international patent law.
You are wrong on one account, it is most likely a "real" razor product. Sure, there are lots of knock-offs, but regular products go for much cheaper over there as people don't make nearly as much money in China as they do in Europe and the US. These products are made so cheaply in Chine to begin with that they STILL make some money selling the products that cheaply.

I have the DA Black Edition and Black Widow and they're perfect lol... And I'm pretty sure the BW is cheaper than most other mechanical keyboards (Or at least competes with them in the price range)

No company can satisfy everyone. So obviously if some things such and break for some people it obviously means the millions of others will have the same luck.

I've had my razer deathadder, lycosa, and barracuda headset for years now and everything still works. I did go through a couple diamondbacks failing but razer replaced those for free and that last replacement is still going.

So since I had such success that must obviously mean everyone should have goodluck with Razer.

Seriously...its computer hardware...stuff fails....get over it people
