Yeah it does sound scary, if not for the "made in China" sticker on them.

And you are not only ignorant in history, you are also ignorant of military affairs and geopolitics. If a single cruise missile, say a dud one that is typical of Chinese quality, lands in some water and scares away some fishes (I'm giving you extra credit here), guess what will happen? Hint: Heard of ASEAN common defence treaty? Or the patch of land in Singapore that is actually US soil (no I'm not talking about the embassy)? Or do you think Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India will sit still and take it as if nothing has happened? Or do you think that the Tibetans or the Uighurs will sit idly? True security comes from friendship, not antagonism. Look at how well it turned out for Nazi and Soviet Union. Singapore has lots of friends, China has North Korea.

And with regards to Singapore as a country, your fellow Hongkongers that flocks over here in 1997 seem to disagree.

I didn't even bother to mention this, but it is so classic Stockholm syndrome.
Don't BS me about hurr durr chinese made stuff is bad, most of the components in your computer are probably made in China, everything is made in China nowadays, get over it.

Face it, China is a world "superpower", China doesn't even need to literally attack their enemies with guns and stuff, even a day of stopping all China exports can bring the rest of the world onto its knees.

Japan does not have a military, their only defense is US, and guess what? US doesn't have to honor their contract! Taiwan? LOL. Taiwan are scared themselves! China has submarines and missiles stationed at the coast pointing directly at Taiwan.

Welcome to the future. I know, its a very scary place.

Been buying gaming mice since 1999. Had an assortment of Microsoft (lol), Logitech, and Razer mice. The razer proved to be the best for me. I bought a lachesis, largely because it was the newest at the time, but returned it due to it just being a bad fit for my hand. Bought a DeathAdder reluctantly since it was "last gen". That was 2007.

4 and a half years later, still using the Deathadder, still performing excellently, still impressive, and the best mouse I've ever owned. It looks, feels, and performs premium. The rubber coating is still intact, except for a few scratches here and there largely due to my insanely rough handling of it (smashed it more times than I can remember, placed it in a bag full of metal objects for transcontinental trip ..etc), but otherwise it's perfect.

Logitech feels and looks cartoonish to me, and I'm bever buying any other mouse than Razer, and I actually WANT my deathadder to fail so I can get the almost identical Mamba.

Only problem I ever faced was a one-click = two clicks after about a year of purchase, which was quickly solved by a WD40 puff on the innards.

A fanboy here, and only ever heard praise of Razer mice from the handful of web communities I'm part of (CSS, WOW...etc), and even the logitech fanboys have a lot of respect of Razer, so when I saw the OP it made as much sense to me as saying: "F22s are the worst fighter jets in the world!".

I'll admit I know nothing about the other Razer products though.

The US getting ripped off

I've had my G9 for three years now and I conclude it's the most solid piece of hardware I've ever bought.

Zero failures, extreme performance. PTFE pads on the mouse are a bit nommed, but they're okay, and I've never used it on a mouse mat. So guess the quality of the thing.

Same goes for my G11, it has five years and so far its only flaw is a rough left Ctrl key, because I always press it sideways and the mechanism has gone a tad bonkers.

I have no reason to go away from Logitech. Every single piece of hardware I have from them works flawlessly and rock solid.

Except for the damned Force3D Pro, which has a slightly off-centered handle turn potentiometer. But I'll calibrate it someday.

My computer is made in China because the cultural revolution kept the them dumb enough to be the slave of the world. I can't believe you are proud of that.

Chinese made is not necessarily bad, as long as a foreigner designed it. If you are talking about Russian design, I promise I will lose sleep.

It's like China could afford to stop their export for a day. Economic is another weakpoint of yours apparently.

Japan does not have a military? I suggest you stay away from military topic because it makes you look, how should I put this delicately? Erm... Without a brain.

Taiwan is scared, may be, but the commies? 60 years has past and they haven't found their balls to invade yet, despite having an army numbering millions.

Yet they have the balls to invade the much larger populated Vietnam. I guess if things turned out bad they could just scurry back with tails between their legs (which they actually did), with Taiwan they'll have to drown, and that's too scary.

With Singapore, there are a lot more water involved.

Yeah, in 30 years time when China is full of old people and too little work force, China will eat Hong Kong for lunch.

We heard the Chinese use Chinese babies to make chewing gum, and Singaporean likes to keep their breath fresh.
