Another reason not to buy razer - Page 45

Mentioning about Razer build quality - always touches a sensitive nerve... since it reminds me of my 3'rd and last mouse i got under that brand, namely: Razer DeathAdder - which got faulty in the first days of trying it which made me so mad that i brake it for good:

That was definitely the rational thing to do, you wouldn't wanna do something crazy like return it for a replacement or refund.

I love razer productions, used my Razer Boomslang for so long. It kills me though, I absolutely loved the Ball mouse, and used it for a good 3-4 years before it died. Sadly I bought another one off ebay which didn't last as long because it was used. After the company folding several times and being rebought they seem to be making "cool" but mid tier quality parts. They don't seem to hold up for long periods of time. I bought the limited edition 2007 CE Boomslang but since the mouse is no longer a ball it feels super light and cheap... I wish I could add weights to it or something. Instead i've completely moved on to the R.A.T. 7 and HHKB Pro 2 keyboard. Only thing left I have is the Razer Galiathus Mouse pad, which I think is great.

Maybe one day they will start releasing higher quality products and I will come back to the company that I use to love.

I'm having trouble finding the details but I remember for a long ass stretch they failed, but were picked up or bought out it might even be pre 2001. I just remember only way you could buy them at all were used for years at a time.

I did that once and same problem (stooped working all of a sudden and if i leave it alone it started working again), which got me real mad, since i was working on a late night project which had to be done till next day and couldn't barrow a mouse at that hour... you don't think rational at that point... madsmiley.png
