Yes it is true but the mouse or keyboard are exact the same as what you can buy in USA.

That just means Razer earns so much $ for something cost them like $3 to make but sell to you like $70.

I am from China and I always hang out in China computer forum. I can tell you guys that all big game product brand like razer products in China is exactly the same as what you can buy in USA.

100% the same. Since the official prices in China is so low already, there doesn't have any fake one. Making fake one doesn't have market over here for stuff like razer since a keyboard+mice costs $20 officially, fake one cannot make much money by making a $15 one.

I dislike the obvious dumping of cheap Chinese Filco clones into the USA market.

Secondly (more importantly) if you study even basic economics you will understand why it's $20 in China and $60 in Europe/America (i'm not going to turn this in to a economics lecture, but you might want to look in to it). This is really not an issue of Razer being unfair or a big bad evil guy and absolutely no reason to "not buy Razer". This is just global economics, ALL products and services vary dramatically in cost all around the world, BUT when the country's average household income, supply/demand, inflation and interest rates (to name a few factors) are considered then things pretty much level out for everyone. Of course there are heaps of other factors such as, logistical costs, taxes, buying power etc etc but that's the basics of it.

I have a Razer keyboard and I think it sucks, they cheaped out on the number of LEDs and I can't see the function keys, numbers, esc button or the number pad very well. This to me is a reason not to buy Razor.
The fact is that it is exactly the same. People have used many different methods to prove that those are the same, and there is no point for the factory to make different grades or separate good QC or bad one. Many China customers willing to pay good money and only accept good quality, Razer cannot take the risk to sell cheap stuff in China too.

China market may be even bigger than US now, and razer doesn't want to lose China market, and they sell exactly the same keyboard and mice in China and USA.

A starbucks in China costs around the same as USA. You may think WOW that is crazy expensive in China if you count the "average salary" in China, but the fact is that there are really many rich people in China now who are willing to spend so much money, and there is crazy many that kind of people in China now so this group of people can spend so much money.

If you don't think it is true, check out two things:

1. China cities housing price
2. Things price like starbucks in China

Look like the housing price, there is no way a 2000 RMB earning person can affort, an apartment costs like a housing in usa, but that is what is happening in China.

Duckys are definitely a LOT cheaper in China.

Speaking of which. Why did the Ebay Ducky guy stop selling keyboards in the USA?

Are they going to end up like Xarmor?
