Instability will set in around the 55c mark, best to keep below this.
62c is MAX temp, not a safe working temp.

If you can, turn LLC from Auto to 1/2. You will not need as much voltage for the same overclock and will result in lower temps. My Athlon doesn't hit 65c anymore, it rarely hits 50c (it's winter here though)
Not really golden, that's more of an average result with OC-ing. I'd like to point out, are the VRMs on your "M" mobo (mATX, usually always 4+1 phase and unheatsinkedd/uncooled) cooled by a heatsink or fan or some sort? Otherwise they are not getting any cooling of sort, this may cause VRM overheating and by extension CPU throttling as protection; your decent overclock may not function correctly. The CPU being 125W at stock TDP and overclocked with high voltage (1.5V+) will consume power & stress the VRMs quite considerably.

That's not true. I've had mine 100% stable at around 58c, it's going to depend on the chip.

I would recommend dropping it down to 4 GHz then bring the voltage down as far as possible. Then work on your NB OC and RAM OC. Where you're trying to run your CPU will not show any good performance gains past 4 GHz. Also if you can get the NB freq above 2.6 GHz you will have a noticeably faster system.

Well Then Mines is Platinum Just kiddin'
My Phenom2 555Be makes 4200mhz at 1.425v,NB 3200mhz at 1.425v and loads temp only 40-45C

OOOOooppps i've just noticed yours is a quad core and btw when my older 555BE was unlocked to x4 i'ved managed to oc it just to 4100mhz(stable) at 1.45v and load temps were mayybe 45-50max,what cooler are you using? And thats the oc with the crappy Asrock 880g Extreme3,i bet that my new Asus m4a89gtd pro could oc it better, but now my new 555be is not unlockable but it clocks good 4.4ghz stable at 1.5375v but temps just jumped too much and for only an hour of prime95 they went up to 60c so now stock speeds its hot here Btw 4400mhz is the max i can get, when 4.4ghz nb max 3000mhz at 1.45v

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1739274
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1739308

So maybe with a better board+serious cooling you will manage a better oc,but as XD says you better be carefull with that 4+1 vrm seriosly if you can get a 8+2vrm board(dont get 880g Extreme3)

My english sucks i know
I'm just not sure why i write all does shidzzzzz really

Edit agin-when nb 3200mhz it is stable only for a few hours prime95 not roc solid but i play crysis with no problems, warhammer too just saying

^this
ok so i tested, with the 555be and when the cpu is at 4000 and nb at 3000
the temps are not so high and it scales just wonderfull,if your ram is 1600mhz try with lower cas mines for an example is at 1600mhz 7-8-7-20-1t at 1.75v
and the pc is rock solid, cool and scales great. however Ived noticed that higher the cpu speed lower the mem latency is,so if you oc the nb you will want to oc the cpu and lower the mem timings

Just because your running it at that temp doesnt make what i said untrue.
55c is the point where instability sets in,this is common knowledge. give or take a couple of degrees.
At what point am i not correct?

I would argue it's the chip not 55c as well. I have had my hands on a few 965's and they usually stayed stable up to around 60c and the one I have at the moment I have run IBT on it at 4.5 temps hitting 63c without crashing. AMD's safe temp is 62c the whole 55c thing is a myth to me.
